Where do I go?
The 10:00 AM Worship Service is held in the Worship Center in the main building. Directional signs will point the way and greeters are located at each entrance to the building. Nursery care for ages 0-3 and Kid's Club for ages 3 to 5th grade is available downstairs in the Little Steps Preschool. On Sunday mornings, it can be accesed by the stairway near the entrance of the main worship center. Check the directional signs or ask a greeter.
What should I wear?
Dress comfortably. We're more concerned with meeting your needs than focusing on what you wear. While some people do choose to wear their "Sunday best", most people wear casual clothing. We only ask that you be modest and appropriate in what you choose to wear to worship.
What can I expect in the Worship Service?
Visitors to our worship services are guests treated with respect and welcome. Worship is the highlight of our week so it is filled with energy and the expectation of a good experience with God. You are free to participate in the elements of the worship service as much or as little as you like. Mount Soledad worship services typically last about an hour and 15 minutes. We worship God through songs that are contemporary and upbeat as well as songs that are quieter and reflective. Words to the songs are projected on large screens. Join in singing if you want to, or just listen. A time of prayer gives everyone some quiet in the service to talk to God. Some pray silently and others pray aloud their thankfulness to God. You can pray silently as the prayer leader guides the congregation, or you can just listen to others pray. There will be a short time of announcements about our life together at Mount Soledad – you can refer to the bulletin you picked up on the way in to check out the resources, events, and groups available to you. We then take an offering to support the ministries of the church and our missionaries throughout the world. You are not expected to give an offering when you visit Mount Soledad. The offering is for those committed to the life and ministry of Mount Soledad. Pastor John then speaks a message based on the Bible. To preview what this is like, click over to the “Resources” tab and listen to one of his messages. Following the service we have refreshments. On the first Sunday of the month we conclude the service with Communion – the simple elements of bread and juice that Jesus used to represent his great love for us as shown by his death on the cross. People who have made a commitment to be followers of Jesus leave their seats and come forward to take the bread and juice of communion. Those who have not made that commitment simply remain seated to listen to the music being sung at that time.
What do I need to bring?
You are welcome to simply come and experience the worship service. The bible passages used in worship and Pastor John’s message are onscreen and in the message outline. Many of our regulars bring their Bibles to follow along in Pastor John’s message. If you have a Bible, bring it with you. If you don't have a Bible, but would like one, take one from the Bible racks near both entrances to the Worship Center.
When do I need to arrive?
Sunday morning services begin promptly at 10:00AM. Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the service time to allow adequate time for parking, getting your children to their rooms, and getting seated in the Worship Center.

Where do my children go?
We have provided excellent care and learning for your children on our campus, but if you wish to have them remain with you in the worship service on your first Sunday at Mount Soledad, that is fine. If your infant needs a quiet place during the service, go to the Parent/Infant room next to the main entrance to the Worship Center. You can see and hear the worship service from the Parent/Infant room and there are rocking chairs as well.
